Brief Description and Special Features:
This pleasant, attractive, interesting and friendly GGAC venue is a small working Farm situated at the foot of the Pennines. It is generally quiet and peaceful. The owners produce free range eggs, breed Shetland Sheep and have a small Herd of Large Black Pigs. There is a well-stocked small coarse fishing lake. (Fishing is an extra charge). Numerous Footpaths surround the farm and criss-cross it, so it is ideal for walking. The footpaths link it to the Pennine Way and the Rochdale Canal, both of which are close by. It is well away from tourist routes but, at the same time, it is near some special places to visit (see below). It will be a good camping holiday destination.

Nearest Shop/Post Office and Pub: Littleborough, a short walk.
Nearest Towns: Rochdale 4 miles.
Nearest City: Manchester 18 miles.
Nearest Station: Littleborough, a short walk.
Nearest A & E: Oldham and Bury 6 - 8 miles.

NB: Collection and return from/to Littleborough railway station, by prior arrangement with the Venue owner is possible for an extra charge.

Places of interest:
Hollingworth Lake Country Park, Todmorden, Hebden Bridge.
Saddleworth is a special area with super Pubs and exceptional scenic views over Saddleworth Moor.
Nearby is Castleshaw Roman Fort and Dovestone Reservoir.

Activities:
The area is super for walking and exploring the local area, particularly the Pennine Way. Mountain Biking.
For boating and fishing, the Rochdale Canal is very close.

Swimming Pool: Rochdale 3 to 4 miles;
Fishing: On the farm
Pony Trekking/Riding stables: near-by.

Notice: As much as possible, normally 3 days, minimum 24 hours.
To be sure of availability, book early. Payment to JWL to be cleared at least 3 days (preferably more) prior to arrival.
