Areas available: Several off beat/semi wild areas. Assistance can be given to Camping area.. Cars can be parked near Tents or near Farmstead depending on weather conditions. No farm animals in the Camping areas.

Brief description and Special Features:
Luxury Camping in a delightful Shepherds Hut on the Dorset Downs. Further details about the Shepherds Hut are given at the bottom of the page.

The venue is a very pleasant and friendly working farm, mainly sheep, on the Dorset Downs, which is an Area of Natural Beauty (ANOB) in South Dorset. The farm is located on hillside slopes, and has its own Bronze Age Camp with beautiful long distance views. Spring Fed Lakes on the Farm provide excellent Trout fishing at extra cost. The camping areas are around a series of Lakes, wild water swimming is permitted in one of these Lakes.

A Shepherds Hut (SH) and /or a Bell Tent (BT) are available to hire separately - see venues DS003-SH and DS003-BT through JWL (GGAC), subject to availability.

Good for Mountain Biking (Hilly!) Wessex Ridgeway long distance footpath, close by. Excellent Horse riding country. Wild Water swimming, Golf, Exploring the local area.
