This Venue is situated in an attractive rural farming area in an unspoilt part of North Pembrokeshire. It is a family run 23 acre smallholding with a variety of animals and poultry. It is quiet, pleasant, interesting, and very friendly. It offers the more adventurous families the feeling of semi-wild camping without being too remote. There are lovely views over to Frenni Fawr, the most eastern of the Preseli Mountains.

Areas available:
Two, both of which are in sunny, secluded, clearings on the edge of attractive woodland, about 200 yards from the farmstead. Each area would take up to two tents, one large and one small and /or an outside area for cooking, fires with room to enjoy the seclusion and privacy it offers. Between the two camping areas there is a space for a Toilet Tent which could also be used for a solar shower. If you do not bring your own toilet/tent, it is possible to hire both a toilet tent and an ABS from the Venue owner. This must be booked in advance and paid for (at £2.00 per day) on arrival, to the owner.

Special Features: As the camping areas are accessed by a fairly steep path from a farm track it is essential that the campers are relatively fit and able bodied. Due to the terrain, Push and Wheel chairs are not permitted. Fresh eggs are available to purchase.
The Venue is 25 minutes from the nearest Beach and 5 minutes from the Preseli Mountains. Good walking and cycling country. It is a very friendly area. A box of basic food (to be ordered in advance) can be prepared for you on arrival. (Charged at cost).

Nearest Towns: Cardigan (Market Town), Carmarthen. Haverfordwest.

Places of interest:
Pembrokeshire Coastal Path starts at Poppit sands 19miles away and heads south for 186 miles. This is fantastic for Walkers, Ornithologists and Naturalists alike. It combines the Preseli Hills (mountains) forming Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Its high point rises to 536 metres. They are dotted with Prehistoric sites and Bluestone. The inner circle of Stonehenge came from the Hills. The Golden Road Walk follows the complete set of ridges and summits, whereas The Preseli Circle encircles the Mountains. The Breen Dragon Bus helps make walking to the Preseli's easier and the Pembrokeshire Coast bus service covers the full length of the coastal path.

There are a number of notable beaches within easy reach; Newport is 16 miles to the West, Mwnt 17 miles to the North and many Coves East of Fishguard. The river Teifi is just 10miles to the North offering good walks, Fishing and Boat trips. Adventure wildlife sea trips are also available from Cardigan. All in all, Pembrokeshire has a lot to offer to ensure you have a great holiday.
